West Kern Water
District is now offering its customers the ability to pay their WATER BILL or
WATER DEPOSIT by credit card. The
District has formed a partnership with Official Payments Corporation to accept
your payment.
Procedure:
First, you must have your account
number. If you do not know your number,
please call our office (661)763-3151.
A convenience fee of $4.95 will be charged by Official Payments to
cover the cost of processing your transaction. This fee will appear as a separate
item on your credit card statement. West Kern will not be the benefactor of
this charge.
Maximum payment amount is $300.
Amounts over $300 will have to be done in $300 increments and will incur
an additional $4.95 convenience fee. This is a standard set by the credit card
companies not West Kern Water District.

Select credit card - Enter account number with expiration date.
7.
Wait for confirmation number.
8.
Once transaction is completed, it will be reported and routed to
West Kern Water District at the beginning of the next business day. At that time, it will be posted to your account.

Enter Jurisdiction Code – 1565 (This code designates West Kern )
5.
Select the Payment Type – Utility Bill (water payment) or Deposit
6.
Amount of Payment

Enter the necessary information.
8.
Select credit card –Enter account number with expiration date.
(Exclude the dashes in the credit card number)
9.
Submit the payment amount.
10.
Wait for a confirmation number.
11.
Once transaction is completed, it will be reported and routed to
West Kern Water District at the beginning of the next business day. At that time, it will be posted to your
account.
